Touching down at LAX yesterday, Jennifer Lawrence gave us a lesson in how to do simple, casual style for autumn winter, as she rocked up to arrivals in a super cool, dressed down outfit.

Ditching any colour to keep things grungey and basic, J-Law not only rocked a gorgeously effortless outfit, but also dared to go bare faced as she made her way through the army of paps waiting to meet her. Not to worry though, she was armed with the world’s BIGGEST sunglasses to hide about 84% of her makeup free face. Clever lass.

Jen opted for a textured V-neck slouchy tee with a pair of classic black skinny jeans for a super comfy yet chic style, along with a pair of awesome black and grey high top trainers. Over the top of her basic pieces she chucked on a vintage looking leather jacket with biker style quilted shoulders, and carried an elegant black leather bag to keep all her bits and pieces (Katniss’s bow and arrow, maybe?) in.

Obviously a bit fed up of long hair getting in the way of gobbling up her plane food (we hear ya, gurl), Jennifer swept her dark blonde locks up into a messy bun and hid it all with a light grey ribbed beanie.

And finally, ditching the makeup but still wanting to cover up tired-looking peepers, Jen stuck on a pair of awesome wooden wayfarer-style sunnies.

Why is it that when celebs do the ‘dressed down’ thing they still look as awesome as Jen does? We end up wearing pyjama bottoms, an old crusty t-shirt and a santa hat that we found down the back of the cupboard.
