It's a trend that just isn't dying down.
But few people can pull off leather trousers quite as well as Charlize Theron, who stepped out looking chic and stylsh in a pair of the pants in Los Angeles on Monday.
The 38-year-old actress teamed the tight-fitting trousers with a black roll-neck jumper - giving her something of an Audrey Hepburn look when paired with her gamine haircut.

Charlize finished off her look with a pair of cat-eye sunglasses, a tan leather bag and a pair of black brogues with brown laces.
While the jumper was loose, the trousers provided the perfect contrast with their tight fit, and flattered Charlize's slim and willowy figure to perfection.
Despite having one of the most admired bodies in Hollywood, Charlize admitted in a recent interview that she has to work hard to maintain her slim shape.

She told Vogue magazine last year: 'I’m sure there are women who never have to worry about what they eat, but I do. I exercise a lot, and I hike a lot. My mom and I hike at least three times a week.'
The in demand actress's career is going full speed and she recently finished filming the thriller Dark Places opposite Carrie star Chloe Grace Moretz.
The dark story revolves around a woman who survived her family's brutal slaying and must relive the event after she is approached by a group bent on solving the crime.
She also finished working on the new Mad Max movie Mad Max 4: Fury Road, alongside Tom Hardy and Nicholas Hoult, earlier this year.

Speaking recently about the various projects she has in the pipeline, Charlize said: 'I just want to make good movies. Honestly, the only difference for me with this stuff is that there is more people on the set.
'You know, the narrative for me is always the most important thing. A good narrative and a big blockbuster is a good f***ing movie, so why separate the two?
'So, those are the kind of movies that I’m looking for. I don’t want to separate like my good work from my big studio movies anymore. I just want to be a part of some good storytelling.'
