Italian luxury leather goods brand Piquadro is gearing up to open its first store in the UK after signing for a unit on Regent Street in London.
Piquadro will open its doors on the store in February next year, after which it will examine further options for stores in London and eventually outside the capital.
The retailer, which sells luxury leather bags, luggage and other accessories, already trades from around 100 stores in Europe and Asia. It is understood to be planning to look for more sites in the UK once the Regent Street store has opened.
London agency KLM acted for Piquardo on the deal with St Martin’s Property, which owns the leasehold on the store, currently occupied by Tony & Guy, at 67 Regent Street. St Martin’s was advised by Nash Bond.
