Handbags stolen from cars parked near Longfield chapel - Mid Ulster Mail

A NUMBER of handbags were stolen from cars parked outside Longfield chapel, Desertmartin, at the weekend.

The incident happened last Saturday evening and police are appealing for information.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “A number of thefts occurred in the Longfield Road area sometime between 6.30pm and 7.15pm.

“The bags were stolen from three cars parked in the area. The bags were recovered from church grounds in the Knocknagin Road area of Desertmartin Sunday.”
