Thefts and vandalism reported


* Between 1 and 6:30 p.m. Oct. 15, someone entered a home on Cornersville Highway and stole jewelry and old coins worth a total of $16,325.


* On Oct. 20, thieves broke into a home on Greenwood Street through a bedroom window and took a 19-inch Vizio TV and a 32-inch Samsung TV. The total value of the flat-screen televisions was estimated at $900. The homeowner also reported bleach had been spilled throughout the house.


* Between 7 p.m. Oct. 13 and 5 a.m. Oct. 14, an axe with a wooden handle, a Harley Davidson leather bag, a pair of Avia shoes, and a wallet containing a CDL, credit cards, a gun permit, and a hunting license were stolen out of an unlocked truck parked at the owner's home on Franklin Avenue. Total value of the missing items is $250.


* Between 9:40 p.m. Oct. 11 and 6:35 a.m. Oct. 12, two rocks were thrown through the front window of a home on a Martin Street. The window will cost an estimated $200 to replace.


* Between Oct. 13 and 14, someone entered two vehicles parked at the owners' home on Old Highway 99. A Samsung phone charger was taken from a Nissan Frontier, and the Chevy Trail Blazer had been rummaged through but nothing appeared to be missing. The same night, at a nearby house, a woman's purse was removed from her van. The pink and white Mickey Mouse purse, valued at $100, contained two birth certificates and a check book for an account with Fort Sill National Bank in Franklin.


* Between 4 p.m. Oct. 16 and noon Oct. 17, someone broke the padlock of a storage unit at a storage facility on Nashville Highway. A three-drawer tote box full of papers, two lunchboxes, and a white cabinet belonging to a friend were taken. Total value of the tote and lunchboxes was estimated at $35.
