LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Ryan Patterson and daughter Harlow show off some stylish shadesCaption Ryan Patterson and daughter Harlow show off some stylish shades My daughter and I spent some serious time trying on loads of sunglasses at Nordstrom last weekend.

Here we are in matching Celine shades she picked out for us to give a whirl. Fun! I did end up buying a less crazy pair of Celine glasses…it was my Christmas present to myself!

Here is what else is on my holiday list:

New Scent: I am not one of those people who has one signature scent… I like quite a few and love to start each new year with a new scent. For 2014, I am thinking either Le Labo Vetiver 46 or the awesomely named Gypsy Water by Byredo.

Something With Stripes: I have had a very long love affair with stripes, but haven’t bought anything striped in over a year since before I got pregnant. Therefore, I am long overdue! At least that’s what I am trying to convince myself!

Statement Necklace: I was all about bold necklaces a couple of seasons ago, but was wearing so many, that I had to take a break from them. But now, they feel right again. J.Crew has a pretty awesome selection that makes me covet big, chunky neckwear all over again.

Mama Needs A Brand New Bag: OK, “needs” might be a stretch…but it’s been so long since I’ve gotten a new purse, that I’m jonesing for one.

Studded Sandals: I am a bit obsessed with Valentino’s Rockstud collection. I’ve been wearing the black flats I bought this Fall nonstop. I am loving the Rockstud brown leather ankle strap thong sandal that’s on pre-order for Spring. With a very hefty price tag, though, this one goes on my fantasy gift list!
