Family members are asking for the public’s help finding two 14-year-old boys who disappeared in Berwyn this week.
The boys, Mateo Nunez and Jacob Perez, both recently moved from Berwyn, family members said.
They were last seen near 28th Street and Euclid Avenue in Berwyn Friday, family members said.
Jacob’s family recently moved to Naperville, and Mateo’s to Riverside. Jacob was seen at school Thursday, but has not been home since, and Mateo disappeared Friday morning.
Jacob is described as a white Hispanic boy, standing about 5-foot-6 and weighing about 160 pounds. He has dark brown hair and a light complexion. He was last seen wearing a blue Cubs hooded sweatshirt under a camouflage jacket with leather arms, black jeans and Adidas shoes. He may be carrying a black school bag.
Mateo is described as a white Hispanic boy, standing about 5-foot-6 and with a thin build and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black cardigan, dark jeans and black shoes.
The boys have been reported missing to Naperville and North Riverside police, family said.
