DANGEROUS HANDBAGS WITHDRAWAL CALL

A housewives association in Valencia has denounced the sale of handbags that they feel could easily be used as a weapon.
The “very fashionable” bags have been seen in various establishments, but the handle of the bag has been listed as an offensive weapon, as it bears similarities to what we would call “knuckle dusters”.
The bag was brought to the attention of the association after one person who had reportedly bought a bag to take to a wedding was stopped by security at Madrid Barajas airport. The security teams there reported the matter to the Guardia Civil, who are investigating legal proceedings against the bag owner.
