He may be more used to wearing smart, early twentieth century attire in Downton Abbey, but Dan Stevens looked quite at home in his causal layers on the set of his new movie.
The actor was in Downtown Manhattan on Wednesday filming scenes for indie drama The Cobbler, which stars Adam Sandler and rapper, Method Man.
The 31-year-old looked a little disheveled as he wheeled a large black crate, while carrying a bag over his shoulder.

Wearing a stripey, brown and grey coat, Dan kept his hands in the pockets before adding an even thicket coat to his outfit.
The actor, who was in the hit ITV1 drama for two years, also wore a navy tartan scarf and a grey blazer.
It is not known who the star will playing in the film as plot details are being kept under wraps for the project, which is being written and directed by Tom McCarthy.

The floppy-haired star finished off his costume with grey leather shoes and dark, straight-legged jeans.
Sandler was spotted filming in the city the previous day, sporting dark circles under his eyes which was perhaps part of his role as a shoe repairman who has the power to metaphysically step into the lives of people whose shoes he fixes.
Rapper and actor Method Man, whose given name is Clifford Smith, also joined him on the Big Apple set.

The 42-year-old musician has previous drama experience thanks to his recurring role on HBO's critically-acclaimed drama The Wire
The indie drama is budgeted in the $10 million range under the direction of McCarthy, who has won critical acclaim for independent gems The Station Agent and The Visitor.
He also wrote the screenplay, was able to lure Sandler to the role before the star begins the dark suburban drama Men, Women & Children for director Ivan Reitman later this year.
