He ran off with a second male of similar description in the direction of Dyfatty. The victim fell to the floor and suffered grazes to her arms and legs.

Detective Inspector Darren George of Swansea CID said: “We are appealing to anyone who saw these individuals in or around the Parc Tawe complex on Saturday night to come forward.

“We are linking the incident at Parc Tawe to a similar incident which happened a short distance away in Dyfatty.”

The second incident happened at Harrington Place flats in Dyfatty at 10.30pm when the 60-year-old female victim had her handbag stolen while walking home.

Two males described as being aged in their teens, dressed in dark clothing with hoods up were seen running away towards Dyfatty traffic lights.

They made off with a brown striped handbag which had a long strap and contained a black leather wallet containing cash and various cards.

The CCTV pictures are of two males seen running through the Parc Tawe complex on Saturday night.
