M&S at Sunset Walk celebrated the latest Autumn fashion collections, modelled by Dame Helen Mirren, Vogue’s Grace Coddington and supermodel Karen Elson, with a style event on Thursday September 12.


Store manager, Nickie Kinder, and employees launched the event at 10am with a ribbon cutting ceremony in front of the store’s Womenswear department, as pictured.


Shoppers were treated to a complimentary glass of Prosecco and style presentations showcasing the new ranges and highlighting the latest catwalk trends.


Stylist Suzy Makin, who has worked with Atomic Kitten and Blue, dressed the models with the new collection and gave fashion advice to audiences.


The outfits showcased all of the fashionista-favourites worn by the leading ladies in M&S’s most recent ad campaign, giving customers the chance to buy the new M&S Collection, Limited Edition and per una products seen on actor Helen Mirren, US Vogue creative director Grace Coddington and supermodel Karen Elson.


Store manager, Nickie Kinder, said: “Whether you’re on the look-out for a new Autumn coat, a cashmere jumper or a buttery soft leather handbag, I’m confident that there will be something in this new collection each customer will fall in love with.


“By showing the glamour, quality and style we have in store this season, we hope our customers will really get a feel for the spirit of this collection.”


The style event marked the next phase in the retailer’s refocused clothing strategy unveiled in May, and showcased in its new ad campaign shot by acclaimed fashion photographer Annie Leibowitz.


In addition to the latest Womenswear styles, the store will also debut new menswear, kidswear and homeware ranges.
