Jessica Alba was dressed like a rock chick but her huge bags were definitely full of designer wear.

Wearing a leather jacket and woolly hat, the 32-year-old Sin City star had very grungy style as she left the posh Coach boutique in Beverly Hills on Thursday.

With rolled-up jeans and a checked shirt, the mother-of-two was dramatically-different from her normally stylish self as she walked with a friend laden-down with shopping bags.

Alba's animal print slip-on shoes would now doubt soon be swapped for the leather heeled riding boots that stuck out of the red paper bag and which sell for almost $800.

Along with the heavy biker jacket, the Dark Angel star wore an unusual Indian-style necklace over the collar of her shirt and Rayban sunglasses to shield from the winter sun.

The multi-tasking mum left her long dark hair loose and wore light make-up with bronze glossed lips,

Alba was joined by a red-headed friend who was equally as overloaded with shopping as she carried two brown paper bags full of trainers from New Balance.

The fabulously fit star no doubt gets through sports shoes quickly as she has long been dedicated to her workout regime.

The Machete star has worked out with trainer Ramona Braganza[3] since she first made it big in Hollywood, and the fitness guru put Jessica through her paces after both pregnancies with her 3-2-1 Baby Bulge Be Gone program.

Alba has recently gotten into group fitness classes and told Women's Health[4] that she has a new favourite Spinning spot.

'When I'm in New York, I like to do some [indoor cycling] classes, group classes, Flywheel is a place I like to go. And sometimes I do sprint intervals just because I hate working out,' she said.

'Anything where I have to do something but I can get my mind off of doing it, that's so much better for me than anything that's repetitive.'

While she looked like she was inspired by Nirvana's Kurt Cobain on Thursday with her grungy outfit, Jess revealed that her true style icons are far more chic.

'I've always loved Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelley, because they're timeless and chic. And I love Kate Moss, because she's rock n roll, and I'm a bit of a nerd about it. Daria, the cartoon character on TV, is also one of my fashion icons.'

Earlier on Thursday, the Fantastic Four action star posed in an Instagram photo with one of her other idols, Mickey Mouse. 'Mickey and I go back,' she wrote in the cheery caption.
