BURGLARY


LANCASTER TWP.: A television and DVD player were stolen between Nov. 23 and Friday from an apartment in the 1700 block of Judie Lane. Entry was made through a window.


PENN TWP.: A Honda power washer, motorcycle jack, speaker boxes and spray-paint guns were reported stolen Friday from a storage unit in the 100 block of Doe Run Road. The owner said the theft occurred in the past 10 days. Loss is $1,900.


CRIMINAL MISCHIEF


EAST HEMPFIELD TWP.: Four tires on a sport utility vehicle in the first block of Landon Way were slashed overnight Nov. 27. Loss $1,480.


DRUG CHARGES


LANCASTER TWP.: Justin J. Brown, 21, of Pottstown, and Nicholas M. Rosales, 22, of New Holland, have been charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after they were discovered Nov. 21 in a parked vehicle in the 1200 block of East Orange Street.


FORGERY


MANHEIM TWP.: Charline M. Oswald, 39, of Saylorsburg, has been charged after she altered a check with her name and cashed it Nov. 26 at a Manheim Township bank. The check was in the amount of $3,598.


HARASSMENT


LANCASTER TWP.: Gary D. Ford, 42, address unknown, has been charged after a disturbance Sunday at Manor Care, 100 Abbeyville Road.


EAST PETERSBURG: Tyler J. Balogh, 22, of Northfield Drive, was charged after a domestic dispute with his mother and sister Sunday at his home. Police said the mother was struck during the incident.


ROBBERY


LANCASTER: A woman said she was walking east on West King Street in front of the Umbrella Works Apartments Saturday when someone pulled her black leather purse containing her bank card from her shoulder. Loss $28.


SIMPLE ASSAULT


LANCASTER TWP.: Donyell A. Bartee, 47, of School House Lane, was charged after he grabbed a woman and tried to choke her Nov. 26 at his home.


TERRORISTIC THREATS


LANCASTER TWP.: Craig L. Johnson, 41, of the 400 block of South West End Avenue, was charged with simple assault and terroristic threats after he threatened his wife and daughter with a knife and struck the daughter during a disturbance Friday at his home.


THEFT


MANHEIM TWP.: An unidentified man took a $598 television shortly before 4 p.m. Sunday from Walmart, 2030 Fruitville Pike. He fled in a black Chrysler.


LANCASTER: A window of a vehicle in the first block of South Duke Street was broken overnight Saturday. A blue backpack with a reflector belt on it was stolen. It contained a silver-colored Mac Book Pro valued at $1,700.


LANCASTER: A window of a vehicle was broken in the 900 block of Marietta Avenue overnight Saturday and a GPS unit was stolen. Loss and damage total $700.


LANCASTER TWP.: A handbag and other items were taken overnight Saturday from an unlocked vehicle in the 1000 block of Wheatland Avenue. Loss is $300.


LANCASTER: A window of a vehicle was smashed in the 700 block of First Street Friday night or Saturday and a GPS unit was stolen. Loss and damage total $415.


LANCASTER: A digital wrist watch and brown watch case was stolen from a store counter in the 100 block of East King Street Saturday. Loss $900.


LANCASTER: A Goodman 5 Ton air-conditioner was stolen from a property in the first block of North Lime Street between Thursday and Saturday. It was not attached or in use. Loss is $1,500.


LANCASTER: A $550 black iPhone left in a men's bathroom at the JCPenney store at Park City Center on Friday was then taken.


LANCASTER: A window of a vehicle in the 600 block of West Chestnut Street was broken Friday morning. A bag with personal papers was stolen, but later recovered. Damage is $300.


LANCASTER: A window was broken on a vehicle in the first block of Fairview Avenue overnight Thursday and a $200 GPS was stolen from it. Damage $100.


LANCASTER: A black, 21-speed Raleigh bike valued at $600 was stolen in the 100 block of North Reservoir Street Nov. 22-23.


THEFT CHARGES


LANCASTER TWP.: John R. Trauger, 35, no address available, was charged with the theft of $184 worth of meat Sunday from Giant, 1360 Columbia Ave.


LANCASTER: Kayla Wallace, 22, of the first block of Ashley Drive, Marietta, was arrested and charged with stealing $480.49 worth of items at the Bon-Ton store at Park City Saturday.


LANCASTER: Kira Simpson, 24, of the 1000 block of Henn Avenue, Ephrata, was arrested and charged after taking taking baby booties, a football jersey, a CZ necklace and a CZ pendant from the Kohl's store at Park City Saturday. Loss $125.


LANCASTER: Denise Garcia, 45, of the 300 block of East Clay Street, was cited Friday after stealing a pair of 14-carat gold and silver earrings from Kohl's at Park City.


VEHICLE THEFT


MANHEIM TWP.: A motor scooter was stolen during the past week from a parking lot in the 1900 block of Oregon Pike. Loss is $500.
