ALTON — City police are seeking information from the public on whereabouts of a 30-year-old Alton woman who has been missing since last weekend.
Authorities said the family of Courtney C. Coats reported her missing Monday afternoon. She was last seen at about noon Saturday, Nov. 23, when she left her home on foot in the 2500 block of College Avenue.
Coats is white, 5 feet, 2 inches tall, weighs about 130 pounds with brown hair and green eyes, according to a press release from the Alton Police Department.
She also has “wings” tattooed on her left wrist.
Coats was wearing an orange, white and black leather Harley Davidson brand jacket and blue jeans, and was carrying a green duffel bag when she left home, the release says.
“We are following every lead as we attempt to locate her,” said Pfc. Emily Hejna, APD public information officer.
Police ask anyone with information about Coats’ whereabouts, or this incident, to contact Alton police as soon as possible at (618) 463-3505.
