Jaywick: Bungalow hit by burglars in broad daylight

BURGLARS smashed their way into a Jaywick bungalow in broad daylight.
The crooks broke a side window to force their way into the home in Millers Barn Road on Saturday.
They snatched a massive haul, including a portable DVD player, a shiny red leather handbag and a digital camera, as well as a charm bracelet and a number of rings – including two diamond-set wedding rings.
Investigating officer Det Con Louise Nellist appealed for people to look out for their neighbours following the incident.
