They say a woman's work is never done.
But on Thursday it seemed there was a role reversal in the Baldwin household as wife Hilaria gave orders to actor husband Alec as he loaded up the family car.
The couple were spotted outside their Manhattan apartment and from the amount of gifts they had it appeared they are well prepared for the festive season.

Yoga teacher Hilaria, 29, flaunted her post baby figure in a pair of slim navy cigarette pants which she teamed with a fitted chocolate brown zip-up top.
A pair of pointy black leather stiletto heels added height to the mother-of-one's petite frame and gave her casual ensemble a bit of an edge.
Hilaria wore her raven locks loose and appeared to be wearing minimal make-up for the outing choosing to cover up with a pair of over-sized sunglasses.

The beauty - who can add hosting to her repertoire as she is now a correspondent on Extra - left the hard work to her husband only carrying a dark grey cashmere coat and a black leather handbag.
Meanwhile her actor husband looked rather dapper in blue trousers and a sweater which he teamed with a smart navy wool coat.
Clearly feeling the cold, the 55-year-old had a cosy cashmere scarf wrapped around his neck as he filled the car up with brightly coloured Christmas gifts and travel bags.

It is unknown where the couple were headed but they sensibly left their baby daughter tucked up inside whilst they packed their car for the trip.
Since giving birth to her first child Hilaria has been juggling the demands of motherhood.
Luckily for the fitness-focused beauty she still has time for her yoga classes as husband Alec takes care of their daughter whilst her mother works out.
No doubt the doting parents - who welcomed Carmen into the world in August - are rather excited about their first Christmas with their little angel.
