With two separate Theory sample sales opening tomorrow morning (one at Clothingline[1] and another one at Chelsea Market[2] ), you're probably torn on where best to shop. We scoped out the outpost at Clothingline earlier today for a sneak peek and, without a doubt, it's solid—and features tempting pieces at attractive prices that reach up to 65% off retail.

The sales floor is chock full of overstock from the Theyskens Theory, Theory, and Theory 38 lines. Generally, the Theory and Theyskens' Theory pieces are similarly priced, which means the Theyskens' pieces are a better value. Unlike last time around, we didn't spy any true samples among the racks. There's a full spread of sizes for both girls and guys, but the vast majority of the sales floor is dedicated to womenswear.

Among the Theyskens Theory racks, we loved the more eclectic pieces, including patterned pants for $79, silk shirt dresses for $159, and the Dilliam dress[3] for $259, which is truly the piece de résistance of this sale. Of course, plenty of the brand's tailored suiting is available in interesting fabrications. Blazers are $179 and bottoms are $79 and $89. There's also a surprisingly good selection of handbags, all priced at $149, as well as some wristlets (behind the cash registers) for just $49.

As for the standard Theory line, we're smitten with the leather pieces, all of which are $399 regardless of style. These looks range from moto-inspired jackets and slim skirts to sleek dresses in a variety of dark hues. For those of you dressing for a corporate office, there is also a variety of suiting with blazers for $169 and bottoms for $79 and $109. Options included basic navy and black, as well as embossed fabrics, plaids, and tweeds.

While the selection for men is significantly smaller, it has everything a guy may want. There is a full rack of wool coats in neutral colors and another rack of puffer coats in brights and neutrals for $259 each. The brand's dress shirts and sport shirts are $59 and $79 and are available in a variety of intricate and subtle patterns and solids. There's also a selection of colorful chinos for $89. Suiting for men is definitely less prevalent.
