The Chatwal Unveils Some Seriously Luxe Red Suitcases from T. Anthony
The Chatwal Hotel [7] in New York has only been open for a few years but already it's important and chic enough to have its own line of luggage.
A limited-edition collection of seriously sexy red luggage from T. Anthony [8] has just been unveiled.
The line, conceptualized by The Chatwal's general manager, Joel Freyberg, features five pieces of "classic" luggage all made with deep red canvas hardcover cases that are trimmed in brown leather and sport polished nickel hardware. There are two suitcases for clothing and shoes, a hatbox, an adorable jewelry case and a make-up case. (No duffel bags or backpacks here!)
This luggage not only looks heartbreakingly good, it will leave you heartbroken when you hear how much it costs-the pieces range from $1,000 to $1,525.
While similar pieces can be found online at T. Anthony, The Chatwal line is only availble in store. (A fab window display is launching this week.) However, if you book this luggage through The Chatwal, they are planning to offer you a stay at another Luxury Collection hotel. Once you've completed your stay at The Chatwal, the butler will pack up your pretty new luggage, ship it ahead of you and it will be unpacked when you arrive.
