As a pop superstar it's hard for her to blend into a crowd.

But Lady Gaga, 27, made it especially difficult for herself after carrying a bag emblazoned with her name as she went for an outing in New York City on Sunday.

The Bad Romance favourite was hard to miss as she made her way to her vehicle as she left her posh hotel in the Big Apple.

The 27-year-old decided to stop momentarily when she saw her gaggle of supporters, and was given an artistic blueprint by one particularly creative fan.

The saucy singer looked in great shape in a black maxi dress, boots and a smart velvet jacket, as well the the brown and grey leather bag that was emblazoned with a pink 'Gaga' on the side.

And the eccentric star again decided to wear two pairs of spectacles, the first aviator sunglasses and the second a clear round pair she held on the bridge of her nose.

The latter were subtly different to the previous day's which were attached to the other via a silver chain.

The popstrel previously wore a brown leather jacket with black leather trousers with slits down the legs as she made her way out of the hotel.

She showed off her toned midriff in a black bandeau top, and seemed to be wearing her natural hair colour for once, tied back into simple ponytail.

It's an exciting time for Gaga, as her new album ARTPOP is about to drop worldwide, which features a duet with R&B legend R. Kelly.

Lady Gaga has also spoken about her want to start a family

Already nicknamed 'Mother Monster' to her millions of fans, the Pokerface singer revealed on Friday that she wants to have real-life children of her own.

'I wanna have tons of kids. I think at least three. I really want to have a family,' said the controversial pop star.

Gaga made the revelation during an interview with Sirius XM radio in New York City where she also told listeners that she can't imagine touring into her sixties, like some aging rock stars.

'I really want to have a family, I really want to nurture my children,' the Applause singer confessed to the DJs.

'Having my own kids will be like having three little monsters with me all the time. They probably won't be fans, they will probably hate my music - who knows.
