Raiders target Welburn home

Raiders target village home THE public are being asked for help after raiders targeted a village house in North Yorkshire.
Thieves broke into a house on Church Lane at Welburn, near Malton, during the evening of November 19.
They stole a gold and diamond engagement ring, a diamond cluster ring, a gold necklace and a gold cross with turquoise insets. Also taken was a brown leather purse, a black leather handbag and a small brown suitcase.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Malton CID on 101, select option two and ask for Clair Gascoyne. Alternatively, information can be emailed to clair.gascoyne@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
