"This is a simple look, but I chose to wear these pants because they can function for work and outside of work as well," says Xiong. Here he shows off his silver watch, which, like his pants, is simple, stylish and functional.

These tan boots are a find from Japan, and the Marc Jacobs apple-printed tote bag was a complimentary item from a magazine.

Style analysis: Although Xiong describes his look as "simple," it is elegant and refined. The black corduroy pants and static-printed V-neck are solid color, but the mustard-colored cardigan tied around his neck offers a burst of color. His brown leather boots match his brown bracelet, while his watch and tote bag are both sleek and functional. The overall effect of this ensemble is streamlined menswear that may be casual, but is filled with personality.

When in doubt, dress simple but refined, Denver.
