CRAFT SHOWS
Christ Episcopal Church, 2627 Atlantic St. NE, Warren, is sponsoring a craft show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 12. Admission is $2. The event will include food, 50-50 raffle and basket auction. Vendors and crafters are needed. The show will benefit animals. For information call 330-330-8166.
Faith Community Covenant Church, 1919 E. Midlothian Blvd., Youngstown, is seeking crafters and vendors for its annual craft show set for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 2. The cost of an 8-foot table or 10-foot space is $20. For reservations call 330-792-2835.
St. Jude Craft Show will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 16 at St. Jude Activity Center, 180 Seventh St., Columbiana. FUNDRAISERS
Craig Beach Fire Victims Craft and Gift Show fundraiser will be from noon to 5 p.m. Sept. 28 at 175 E. Broad St., Newton Falls. The event will benefit a local family who recently lost their home in a fire. Crafts, vendors, 50-50 raffle, silent auction, food and more will be available. Mesopotamia Fall Heritage Day will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 5 at the Mesopotamia Commons at the corner of state Routes 87 and 534. This is the 12th annual event hosted by the Mesopotamia Chamber of Commerce. There will be skilled artisans from the area that specialize in traditional Amish and Yankee crafts. Crafters in period costume will perform outdoor demonstrations including: soap making, quilting, rag-rug weaving, basket weaving, blacksmithing, candle making, leather working, spinning and more. Homemade ice cream, apple butter-making, an Amish bake sale with fried pies and a lunch stand will be offered. Good Hope Church, 98 Homestead Drive, Boardman, is sponsoring a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Proceeds will go to the women of the church and the choir. The cancer relay for life team will serve food all day. Donations will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today through Thursday. TVs, computers and tires will not be accepted.
Heavenly Place COGIC, corner of McGuffey and Katherine, is sponsoring a garage sale from 9 to 5 p.m. Saturday. They also will serve barbecue chicken and rib dinners throughout the sale.
Junior Women’s League of Canfield is recruiting vendors for the 44th annual Fall Market on the Canfield Village Green scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
