WaterField Designs offers several wallet style cases and the new Finn Wallet can accommodate world travelers with enough room for a passport as well as their smartphone. The new Finn Wallet offers roomy interior, two credit card/business card sized slots, and zippered pocket for coins and it comes in a variety of sizes to fit different sized phones. The exterior options including leather, waxed canvas and nylon.

Design and Features

The WaterField Designs Finn Wallet has an understated wallet design. It opens on top and one side to give you access to the content in the wallet easily yet keeps it more private from public view. Inside you'll find two credit card slots that can store quite a few cards or business cards, a zippered pocket that you can store your change, bills and more. The center of the wallet is surprisingly spacious, and depending on the size you get, you can store your smartphone, your passport and cash with room to spare. One side on the interior also features soft lining for your phone's display in case you store your phone bare in the wallet.

WaterField Designs offers four sizes for the Finn Wallet. The smallest size, Size 25, measures 4.5 x 2.8 inches and it can store up to 20 credit cards and a thick stack of bills. If you have a smaller flip phone, it should fit in it as well. The Size 27 Finn Wallet can fit an iPhone 5/5c/5s, Size 42 wallet can fit a passport and Size 69 can fit a Samsung Galaxy S4 or an HTC One. The wallets that fit the phones can also store up to 15 credit cards and bills, and the Size 42 (pictured here) can fit a passport and a zippered coin pocket which is great for world travelers. We tested the Size 42 Finn Wallet with an iPhone 5 and found the phone fit in the wallet effortlessly even with a thin case. But if you have a thicker and bulkier case, it won't fit in the Size 42.

The Finn Wallet also comes with a variety of exterior finishes as well. The leather exterior is conditioned to feel soft and comes in black, camel, gray, red, forest green and cowboy brown. The waxed cotton canvas exterior has a traditional canvas bag look, and the silver "Flash" nylon one, pictured here, has a textured surface.

Conclusion

We haven't seen many cases for smartphones that let you store your passport for world travelers and we liked the WaterField Designs Finn Wallet for its spacious interior and all the exterior options. The case is well made with strong zipper and sturdy material. The case has strong nylon reinforced bottom and a nice soft lining for your phone's front glass. The wallet case stays slim thanks to fewer interior layers and it's an ideal carrying case for your phone, money and credit cards in one place.
