Aigner takes inspiration from exotic Brazil for new bag collection - MoodieReport

German fashion brand Aigner will showcase its Spring/Summer 2014 leather collection during next month’s TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes (Stand Number: Yellow Village H35).

Taking its inspiration from Brazil, the collection combines Aiger’s signature traditional craftsmanship with modern design and bold colours. It features new bag shapes such as Saffiano, Copa and Cybill with A-logo patterns and textural embossing.

Aigner Head of Sales Myriam Staude said: "We are extremely proud of our 2014 Spring/Summer collection. Our exclusive leather creations bring together traditional leather craft and innovative style in an impressive way. Aigner has a true love for leather, and this collection really showcases that. Our new collection shows that we are up to date with modern styles, but we will never lose our quality or traditional heritage."

The Spring/Summer 2014 collection offers three colour themes: Birds of the Amazon, based on the exotic world of the Amazon rainforest, features Palm Green, Rio Blue and Tucan Yellow paired with White and Raffia hues; Sublime Nature comes in soft natural shades of Amazon Green, Bast White, Terra and Bahia Brown; and Copa Carnival channels "joy, dance and driving rhythms" with strong colours including Heliconia Red, Pitaya Pink and Gold, anchored by Black.

Highlights of the collection include:

Cybill – dubbed as Aigner’s new ‘It-Bag’, the Cybill is said to be typical of the Heritage range with its "puristic yet present" design, quality leather and bold colours. It is available in Black, Taupe, Heliconia Red, Burgundy and Amazon Green.

Saffiano – soft leather with a classic design, the Saffiano comes in Black, Heliconia Red, Terra Brown and Vibrant Purple.

Copa – available with chain detailing and in strong colours such as Black, Tucan Yellow, Terra Brown and Azalea.
