Shakira was letting down the reputation of female drivers everywhere when she decided to badly park her car on a street corner on Thursday.
The 36-year-old Colombian singer emerged from her silver Mercedes-Benz, which was left protruding into the middle of the street and two front wheels on the pavement, before rushing into a nearby recording studio in Barcelona, Spain.
She nevertheless ran into the studio with a smile on her face before handing her car key over to a studio employee.

Despite the mayhem, Shakira still managed to look chic and stylish in her casual ensemble, wearing a grey ribbed top, ripped denim jeans and a pair of studded black boots.
Carrying her coat in her hand and throwing a black leather bag around her neck, she held out the key for the employee.
The She Wolf singer tied her long blonde locks into a pony tail while keeping her make-up simple with just a touch of cheek blush, black mascara and nude lipstick.

While in the studio, boyfriend Gerard Piqué arrived outside the venue to meet her for 30 minutes after he finished training with his Barcelona football team.
On noticing her car, Gerard then decided he would finish off the job for her and move the car to a more favorable parking space.
The 26-year-old Spanish footballer was dressed casually in a Nike hoodie, a pair of dark grey tracksuit bottoms and a pair of black Nike trainers.

In keeping with the Nike theme, he also wore a white Nike T-shirt underneath his zipper, which he displayed as he exited Shakira's car.
Gerard was clearly going for the handsome, rugged look, leaving his brunette mane messy and sporting a beard.
The footballer, who has been with Shakira since 2010 now have a son, Milan Piqué Mebarak, who was born on January 22 last year.

Shakira, who is appearing on the front cover of Glamour magazine, told the publication about how Gerard inspired her to ditch dieting.
'At the beginning. But my man, Gerard, prefers meat over bone,' she said.
'He doesn’t like too skinny. [Laughs.] That takes pressure off. I already have a lot to worry about.
'This month I’m not exercising because I have an album to finish and I have a baby. And I like these pastries in front of me.'

Meanwhile the star is about to release her new duet with Rihanna, Can't Remember To Forget.
The stars announced this week that the tune will hit the shops on January 13, and is likely to be the first official single off Shakira's forthcoming 2014 album release.

Shakira will also be back on The Voice US as a coach when the show returns for its sixth season on February 24.
