Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Trevu Road, Camborne at about 1am on Saturday, November 23.


Police said: "A lone female was walking up Trevu Road towards Redbrooke Road, Camborne when a man approached her and snatched her handbag violently.


"The suspect ran off along Redbrooke Road, Camborne. He is described as a white male, 5’11 to 6’ tall wearing a grey coloured hooded tracksuit top with the hood up over another hat. He was also wearing grey baggy jogging trousers.


"The hand bag is described as a small black leather handbag with a shoulder strap and two leather tassels. The woman was left shaken and upset by the incident."
