GREENSBORO, N.C.-- If you need a handbag and not looking to pay a lot of money, you missed one of the greatest handbag auctions in Greensboro.

Tuesday night, the United Way of Greater Greensboro held its annual Handbags for Hope at the Regency Room in Downtown. The event was emceed by cohosts Tracey McCain and Jackie Fernandez of WFMY News 2's Good Morning Show.

There was an admission fee which included your bidding number and handbags, many of them designer, were there for the taking if the bid was accepted.

All proceeds go to United Way of Greensboro and the community resources they support.
