They are rumoured to be in a relationship.

And Nina Dobrev and Derek Hough certainly added fuel to fire when they spotted together over the weekend.

The pair were seen arriving together at the Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles on Saturday, less than one month since talk surfaced that they were an item.

Nina, who is best friends with Derek's younger sister Julianne Hough, showed off her svelte frame in skintight jeans, a black sleeveless top and brown ankle boots.

The 24-year-old wore a red handbag slung across her body while also carrying a large black leather handbag.

She wore her brown hair loose and sleek over her shoulders and kept her make-up natural.

Meanwhile, Derek, 28, kept it casual in baggy ripped jeans, a grey shirts, brown boots and a hoodie.

A source recently revealed to Us Weekly^[3] : '[Nina] was hanging a lot with Derek's sister Julianne. Then she fell for him.'

But the alleged relationship isn’t one-sided.

'Derek is smitten with Nina,' the insider explained. 'He said he hasn't felt this way for a girl in a long time.'

And last month at Kari Feinstein’s pre-Emmy gifting suite in West Hollywood, Derek allegedly requested shoes 'for his girlfriend' and then texted Nina for her size.

Later it was revealed that the shoes were in fact a gift for the CW actress.

A spokesman for Derek declined to comment when contacted by MailOnline about the purported romance.

Vampire Diaries star Nina, who broke up with boyfriend of three years Ian Somerhalder in May, previously stated: 'I've been a relationship girl and I've been in long-term relationships my whole life until this point.

Adding: 'I'm just discovering different sides of me and growing and then I'll figure out what I like in a man when I see it.'

Meanwhile, Derek garnered an Outstanding Choreography Emmy last month, which inspired a public message from his alleged new lady.

Nina posted a snap of the television personality to her Instagram with the caption: '@Derekhough !!!!!!!! #EMMYWINNER I cant express in 140 characters how unbelievably excited+incredibly proud I am of you. You deserve this.'

Before dating Nina, Derek had previously been linked to Cheryl Cole, Shannon Elizabeth, and The Hills Lauren Conrad.
