Like many new parents their child has been the focus of their attention.
But now little Luca Comrie is over a year old his parents Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie look as though they are slowly relaxing into parenthood and enjoying spending some quality grown up time together.
And on Saturday the young couple were spotted in Hollywood enjoying their second date in as many nights.

The couple were spotted arriving at the Hollywood Bowl to attend John Mayer's concert and were all smiles as they were snapped by waiting photographers.
Hilary was dressed down for the night out but still looked lovely in a casual ensemble of black leggings and a black tank top which she teamed with an oversized cream crochet jumper.
To finish off the laid back look the pretty star who recently turned 26 added a dark grey chiffon scarf tied loosely around her neck, a dark brown fedora hat with a purple satin sash and a pair of grey suede and leather pointed ankle boots.
The former Lizzie McGuire star wore her blonde locks loose and unstyled and seemed to be wearing very little make-up for the night out with her husband of three years.

The mother of one carried a large nude coloured leather bag with silver chain detail slung casually over one shoulder and held husband's hand.
Meanwhile her Canadian beau was similarly dressed down in blue jeans, T-shirt and leather jacket combination.
The ex hockey player finished off his look with a pair of white trainers and a dark baseball cap.
The couple looked happy but tired as they left the venue a few hours later and headed home to their adorable son Luca.

The date nights probably provided some respite for Hilary who has been juggling motherhood with resuming her career.
The singer and actress is currently working on a new album which includes a track with producer Billy Mann who is best known for his work with artists including Pink, Robyn and Celine Dion.
As well as her music, Hilary has some film projects in the pipeline, including comedy Flock of Dudes which is set for release in 2014.
The kind star has also found time to support charitable projects and recently posted a picture of herself wearing a T-shirt from the anti-bullying charity The Farley Project emblazoned with the motto 'Choose Kindness'.
