New York, NY (PRWEB) September 02, 2013

Fashion industry insiders are anxiously anticipating what fashion designer Korto Momolu has in store for the Spring/Summer 2014 runway during New York Fashion Week. On Sunday, September 8, 2013, the Project Runway alumni will unveil what promises to be a captivating and unique array of editorial designs entitled "Enchanted Fantasy" at Helen Mills (137-139 West 26th Street).

"I’m taking a break from the ready-to-wear trend and other fashion norms this season and revisiting the stepping stones in my life that shaped my intense love affair with fashion," states Momolu. Her brilliantly styled artistic collection personifies the classic battle of "good vs. evil" and illustrates how their co-existence best defines the beauty of our world and often leads to "happily ever after." Korto’s specific style choices spark the "Enchanted Fantasy" mood via the introduction of stronger hues; new, exciting textures and a return to classic beading.

To advance the designer’s vision, Cashhimi Luxury Handbags will be featured with Korto Momolu’s "Enchanted Fantasy" collection. "I have worked with [Cashhimi] many times for editorial shoots, and I’m absolutely in love with the collaboration between their Python Collection and "Enchanted Fantasy," states Arnold Milfort, celebrity fashion stylist.

Nioxin®, a leading research company that uses advanced technologies to deliver thicker, denser-looking hair, will serve as the "Official Hair Design Team," led by top Nioxin stylist, Diane Cole Stevens. Additional sponsors include FLO Wine, a part of FLO {For the Love of...} Brands, which produces three types of wine – a Moscato, a Chardonnay and a Red Blend. FLO Wine is bottled in Napa Valley, California.

In addition to the latest collection, the Korto Momolu brand is also thrilled to announce the launch of the online store which will finally allow any consumer to own a Korto Momolu original. "We have successfully crossed a major hurdle. The new e-commerce store is a brand extension that local and global consumers have been waiting for," states Leonard DeShield, Brand Manager. "Team Korto is also very eager to partner with companies like Cashhimi, Nioxin, FLO Brands, Mirabelle Beauty (official sponsor), Paramount Hotel (official sponsor), etc. to present this collection."

In 2012, Korto was selected to create an exclusive design for Lord & Taylor’s capsule collection for Project Runway’s 10th anniversary. Highlighted as one of the "Top 5" designers to watch by New York magazine and listed as "The Grio’s Top 100", Korto Momolu, born in Liberia, West Africa, easily stands out from the rest and has captured the attention of the fashion industry. She’s been featured in Elle magazine, People magazine, Women Wear Daily, Soap Opera Digest, Essence, and on a limited edition box of Cheerios for the Shoprite Partners in Caring Hunger Campaign.
