As the launch of Phillip Lim for Target approaches, more and more sneak peeks are being revealed on social media websites and in magazines.

Leaked on Instagram by blogger Fashion Foie Gras[3] , a magazine ad for the forthcoming line shows a model in a sleek white dress with floral patterning, carrying a black leather bag.

And T Magazine[4] has posted a snap of four items from the much-anticipated collection, including a $74.99 navy blue dress with sequins on one shoulder and a black satchel.

Highly-anticipated: As the release date for Phillip Lim for Target nears, more and more sneak peeks are being revealed - like this ad, which shows a $35 satchel identical to his high-end $895 Pashli bag

Judging by the leaked photos, which both show a $35 satchel which is almost identical to his $895 Pashli bag, the designer has brought some of his high-end esthetic to the line.

One of the images also shows two items from the men's collection: a pair of white high-top sneakers, and a navy blue button down with camouflage patterning on the sleeve.

Set to hit shelves on September 15, the 100-piece collection will feature a mostly neutral palette, with a selection of pieces in bold patterns and graphic prints like camo and leopard.

One stand-out item is a sweater-skirt onesie from the line, featuring a pop art-style 'Boom!' design in red, yellow and blue.

A photo of the onesie, as seen in a magazine, was leaked on Saturday by Twitter user TheKeyToChic[5] .

The outfit is very similar to a $425 'Ka-pow' sweater from the designer's main line.

According to T magazine, the collection - which ranges in price from $19.99 to $299.99 - is divided into morning, noon and night wardrobes.

It will feature bags, accessories, leather jackets and basic apparel for both men and women, which are 'cool and chic, but still very accessible,' Mr Lim said in a statement.

The designer explained that the collaboration is 'really personal' for him, because he himself was a Target customer as a child.

'My parents were always taking me to Target for back-to-school shopping, and I would find things, but they were not quite right,' he recounted.

'This was my chance to go back and relive this and do it right.'

Phillip Lim announced the collaboration with the retailer in May, after a 'courtship of five years,' the designer told Wall Street Journal.

Under wraps: A sneak peek video released in May gave little away, showing just quick glimpses of the forthcoming designs (pictured)

'What was exciting to me this time around was that they gave me the opportunity to do lifestyle instead of a capsule collection of dresses or something,' he explained.

'It was the chance to really create a new concept of the modern day wardrobe and accessories to really address the modern day citizen.'
