A THIEF stole a gold ring, cash and two handbags from a home.
The male burglar walked into the building, in Cambridge Road, Lee-on-the-Solent, through a back door.
It happened between 11am and 1.30pm on Saturday, August 31.
Hampshire police released details of the burglary yesterday.
Two handbags, £30 cash and a gold ring with Arabic writing engraved on the inside were stolen.
A white man with tanned skin, aged in his late 20s and of medium build, was seen leaving the property.
He is about 5ft 10in.
At the time he was clean shaven, had short dark hair and was wearing a dark coloured T-shirt or polo shirt and dark-coloured trousers or jeans.
He was pushing a black bike.
PC Barry Martin said: ‘We appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the burglary or saw the man described leaving the property.
‘Ensure doors and windows of unoccupied rooms are left secure.’
